iScuela Cancellation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 25, 2025

This Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) is incorporated into the Terms of Service of iScuela Ltd. (“iScuela,” “we,” “us,” “our”). Your use of iScuela’s platform and services (“Services”) is subject to this Policy. All capitalised terms used herein have the meanings set forth in the Terms of Service unless otherwise defined.

1. Definitions

Customer: The school, institution, or authorised representative entering into a Service Agreement with iScuela.

Subscription Term: The period for which a Customer subscribes (e.g., monthly, annual, multi-year).

Service Order: An order, contract, or subscription by which the Customer obtains access to iScuela’s Services.

Cancellation Notice: Written notice by the Customer to cancel a Service Order.

Billing Cycle: The recurring period for which the Customer is charged (monthly, annually, etc.).

2. Subscription Cancellation

2.1 Right to Cancel
Customers may cancel their subscription at any time by providing a Cancellation Notice in accordance with the Terms of Service.

2.2 Effective Date of Cancellation
Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the then-current Subscription Term unless otherwise agreed in the Service Order.

2.3 No Prorated Refunds
Subscriptions are non-refundable for unused portions of the Subscription Term. No prorated refunds will be issued for days in which Services were accessible but not used.

3. Cancellation Prior to Automatic Renewal

3.1 Automatic Renewal
Unless otherwise agreed, subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each Subscription Term unless Customer provides a Cancellation Notice prior to renewal.

3.2 Notice Period for Renewal Cancellation
To avoid being charged for the next term, Customer must cancel at least 7 days before the renewal date.

4. Training, Setup, and Implementation Services

4.1 Non-Cancellable Services
Training, setup, and onboarding services are non-refundable once initiated, as these are resource-intensive and tailored for each institution.

4.2 Rescheduling Requests
Rescheduling of training or onboarding sessions may be accommodated with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to resource availability.

5. Refunds

5.1 Eligibility
Refunds are issued only under the following circumstances:
a. Duplicate payments or billing errors;
b. Services or Subscription Terms not delivered due to iScuela’s system or operational failures;
c. Hardware returns due to iScuela’s error and in accordance with Section 5.

5.2 Non-Eligible Requests
Refunds will not be granted for:

Change of mind after subscription activation;

Delays caused by school infrastructure, third-party vendors, or internet issues;

Subscriptions cancelled after automatic renewal (except as required by law);

Training, onboarding, or professional services once delivered.

5.3 Refund Amount & Method
Approved refunds will be made using the original payment method, unless otherwise agreed.
Refunds will be processed within 15 business days of approval.

5.4 Parent Inquiries
iScuela provides its Services directly to schools and institutions, not to parents or students as individual customers.
If a parent has concerns or is unsatisfied with the product, they are kindly requested to contact their child’s school directly. The school, as the subscribing Customer, is best positioned to address such matters in line with their internal policies and their agreement with iScuela.

6. Dispute & Notification Process

6.1 Submitting Cancellation / Refund Requests
All requests must be submitted in writing to [email protected] with details including:

Order or subscription identification;

Reason for cancellation or refund;

Supporting documentation if applicable (e.g., proof of non-delivery, billing statement).

6.2 Response Time
iScuela will acknowledge receipt of a cancellation or refund request within 3 business days.
Investigations will be completed within 10 business days, and a decision communicated in writing.

7. Modifications

iScuela reserves the right to amend this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time.
Modifications are effective upon posting on the website and/or notifying the Customer. Continued use of the Services after such updates constitutes acceptance.

8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

This Policy is governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising out of or related to this Policy shall be resolved in accordance with the dispute resolution provision of the Terms of Service.
